The chief of the Olympics committee says palestinian athletes will be welcomed, even if they don't qualify:

Between six and eight Palestinian athletes are expected to compete at the Paris Olympics, with some set to be invited by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) even if they fail to qualify, its head Thomas Bach said.

Bach told AFP on Friday that qualification events for the Paris Games, which start on July 26, were ongoing for a number of sports.

“But we have made the clear commitment that even if no [Palestinian] athlete would qualify on the field of play… then the NOC [National Olympic Committee] of Palestine would benefit from invitations, like other national Olympic Committees who do not have a qualified athlete,” he said in an interview at IOC headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.

He said he expected the Palestinian delegation to number “six to eight.”

Bach said that the International Olympic Committee “from day one of the conflict” in Gaza had “supported in many different ways the athletes to allow them to take part in qualifications and to continue their training.”

For an outfit that's supposedly against Russian participation, they sure don't seem to have a problem with another community far more savage taking part. The Olympics clearly isn't worth viewing any more, let alone participating in.

There was a documentary a short time ago on Apple TV called Boys State, and now it's been followed by a sequel called Girls State, which presents a most interesting problem addressed:

Her platform was essentially women have to think of themselves because the men are not going to. Basically, in the words of one of the girls there, Emily Glasgow, Cecelia ran on an unbeatable platform: a feminist manifesto.

What was the great inequality that propelled these girls to unite under such a slogan? Stricter dress codes and a buddy system that their counterpart at Boys State did not have to adhere to. So while these girls lamented these grave injustices, the boys were discussing policy, albeit with its own issues, but policy nonetheless.

While feminism as embodied by leftists can be appalling, this does provide what to think about as far as dress codes are concerned, and if boys aren't going to held to specific standards, then it's offensive to suddenly decide girls must be. This is something conservatism's had a problem with for a long time, and while some have moved away, it's clear it'll take years until it can be cleaned up, if at all, mainly because leftists have now taken up that very position.

And I won't excuse the harm ultra-Orthodox Judaists caused with the way they went about such BS in past years. As noted before, that does is take away vital attention from more serious issues like Islamofascism. It's time to quit with such trivial issues as "modesty".

Some footage of one of the PLO-affiliated terror groups turned up:

The Fatah movement's Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Tulkarm, published footage last night (Friday) of the shooting carried out by terrorists towards the town of Bat Hefer.

"At 23:35 we attacked Bat Hefer and fired bullets that hit the homes of settlers," the video stated. "This is just the beginning."

Bat Hefer residents have suffered for some time from the sounds of gunfire from the direction of Tulkarm, and there have been incidents where bullets hit homes near the fence.

Last week, ISA and Border Police forces conducted an extensive counterterrorism operation in the Nur a-Shams refugee camp near Tulkarm, which lasted dozens of hours.

During the operation, Israeli special forces eliminated 14 terrorists in close encounters, arrested 15 wanted individuals, confiscated numerous weapons, destroyed dozens of IEDs, and demolished two bomb factories.

Nine IDF soldiers and one Border Police officer were injured. All were evacuated for medical treatment, and their families were updated.

What this makes clear is that the PLO continues to prove a serious threat to safety. Also chilling, but not shocking, is Columbia university's continuing cowardice in dealing with anti-Israeli protestors:

Administrators at Columbia University have backed away from their threats to anti-Israel protesters, telling the student activists that have occupied its campus that the school will not use the New York Police Department to clear them out.

Columbia’s decision to allow the protesters to continue camping in the university’s quad comes after the administration gave multiple deadlines, each of which came and went without the university taking any action.

The students were originally given a deadline of Tuesday night at midnight to come to an agreement with the administration, but the deadline was pushed back to 8:00 AM on Wednesday morning. The deadline was extended yet again to Friday, with the university now backing down completely.

It's worth remembering these same brand-new monsters also demonstrate quite a bit of anti-American sentiment on campus, one more reason why the university's caving is so atrocious. Nobody should pay money to study there ever again.

According to Robert Spencer, it looks like a recent report is warning that approval could've been given by Biden for what even the ICC could be planning:

If a Wednesday report in the Israeli media is accurate, this is one of the most, if not the most, craven betrayal of an ally in American history, and in the entire world’s history.

The Israeli journalist Amit Segal published a Hebrew-language story in the popular Israeli news outlet Mako that reveals an American betrayal of Israel of stupefying magnitude. “Very senior officials associated with the International Criminal Court in The Hague,” wrote Segal, “have spoken about Israel’s fear of arrest warrants for senior officials in the context of the war in Gaza. The officials told N12 [Mako’s broadcast channel] that the intention to issue such orders would not have been possible without American consent.”

The threat of arrest from the International Criminal Court is not hanging over the heads of minor officials only. “Last week,” Segal reports, “the Prime Minister’s Office held an urgent discussion on the issue, in which serious concerns were raised about allowing the issuance of arrest warrants against senior Israeli security and political leaders, including against Netanyahu himself.” This could all happen quickly: “Reports that have recently arrived in Jerusalem,” Segal continues, “indicate that the chance of issuing arrest warrants has increased dramatically, possibly as soon as next month.”

Segal noted that this was happening with American approval: “Regarding the intention to issue arrest warrants for senior Israelis, the sources at The Hague said that it is impossible that the chief prosecutor would have decided on such a dramatic step, in a war that is still ongoing, with very little evidence, if he had not at least had a ‘green light’ from the Americans. If this is true, this is another and unprecedented low in relations between Israel and the US, at a very sensitive time, on the eve of the ground entry to Rafah.”

Let's also remember Biden's "administration" refused to oppose a UN resolution against Israel a number of weeks ago, so this is no shock either. It's just another disgusting moment in a world that's eroding under political correctness and Orwellianism.

There's a supposed conservative in the radio business named Erick Erickson who's been around for 2 decades or so, and is one of the most pretentious to claim the mantle. John Daniel Davidson describes how Mr. Erickson is totally out of touch with reality on only so many issues:

Maybe you saw a recent clip on X from conservative talk radio personality Erick Erickson criticizing what he calls a “weird movement within conservatism” that questions things like “limited government” and “free markets,” principles long associated with the conservative movement.

If you haven’t seen the clip, take a look. It’s like watching someone talk about the state of conservatism halfway through Obama’s first term, when Republican leaders were vowing to repeal Obamacare and inveighing against Democrats for violating the Constitution with a “socialist” health care scheme. (Obamacare was of course never repealed and is now, all these years later, a permanent feature of America’s health care system.)

Erickson’s point, which he also made in a post for National Review, is that the Republican coalition for decades was built on the “three-legged stool” of fiscal conservatism, traditional values, and a peace-through-strength foreign policy. This is what won the Cold War and unleashed prosperity at home. I’m sure you’ve heard the story.

The problem now, he says, is that some people on the right (whom he doesn’t name) are calling into question these orthodoxies, especially free markets and limited government. They aren’t fighting to cut the size of the government but are instead working to gain control of it and wield power to achieve their preferred outcomes.

Erickson thinks this is bad, a betrayal of the old three-legged stool of Reaganite conservatism. After all, he says, if you use government power when your side is in control, the opposing side will use it against you when they’re in control. And we don’t want that, do we?

It’s hard to overstate how out-of-touch this way of thinking is, as if the past 15 years simply never happened, to say nothing of the past 50.

Consider the three legs of the stool. On fiscal conservatism, we’re swimming in an ocean of debt that grows no matter which party controls Congress, while inflation is killing middle- and working-class families. On traditional values, we legalized gay marriage and then quickly moved on to normalizing transgenderism and acquiescing to so-called “gender-affirming care,” even for minors. On peace-through-strength foreign policy, we lost the War on Terror and are now funding multiple wars all over the world as part of a crumbling global imperium. The stool has no legs left.

Read more at the page. I've been fairly familiar with Erickson myself, and he's nothing more than cure for insomnia. Most likely he's not particularly concerned about the issues Davidson cited, and it's about time Erickson go into retirement. Besides, much as I feel bad to say this, even Reagan wasn't perfect, and never confronted the issue of Iran's totalitarian regime properly.

Another example of how the most far-left Hollywood members are being let off the hook as compared to conservatives, as the disgraced movie mogul Weinstein had his sentence in New York overturned:

Oscar winner Mira Sorvino and other Hollywood stars reacted to a decision by the New York Court of Appeals to overturn Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 rape verdict.

In a post on X on Thursday, Sorvino wrote that she was “horrified” by the court’s decision to overturn the 2020 rape conviction of Weinstein due to the court’s failure to give the disgraced movie mogul a fair trial by allowing allegations from accusers not connected to the charges against him to testify.

“Day after #DenimDay honoring sexual violence survivors, Harvey Weinstein’s conviction overturned, due partly to ‘Molineux witnesses’ testifying to prior bad acts, like lioness Annabella Sciorra,” Sorvino’s post read, referring to a term meaning “witnesses in a trial who are allowed to testify about criminal acts that the defendant has not been charged with committing,” The New York Times noted.

To be sure, nobody's going to be questioning whether the left's conduct contributed in any way to this ruling, which is just as unfortunate as the time Bill Cosby's verdict was overturned. Sure, Weinstein's career is over regardless, but this is very regrettable all the same, because if the courts could take a lenient approach to Cosby's sentence, it could end up being the same for Weinstein, who, if it matters, produced atrocious propaganda in the past that was hurtful to Israel and lenient on Islam.

John Nolte says the way the trial was first handled a number of years ago was poor, and maybe it was, although I assumed the approach used was part of the concept of witness testimony. In any event, of course this is a very sad day when somebody who's apparently a self-hating Jew would be let off the hook. There may be a new trial, but it makes very little difference; what's been done so far only represents another travesty of justice for victims of sexual assault in Hollywood.

It looks like for now, fraud-in-chief Joe Biden and his staff have backed off their intent to impose sanctions against the IDF's Netzach Yehudah faction:

The Biden Administration has backtracked and will not impose sanctions on the IDF's Netzach Yehuda Battalion, ABC News reported this morning (Friday).

According to the report, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrote a letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson explaining that the decision was made in light of Israel's commitment to addressing concerns over human rights violations by the IDF in Judea and Samaria.

According to Blinken, the administration's concerns over alleged human rights violations by the Netzach Yehuda Battalion "will not delay the delivery of any U.S. assistance and Israel will be able to receive the full amount appropriated by Congress."

On Wednesday, Ynet reported that Israeli officials believed that the US would not follow through on its announcement of its intention to impose sanctions on the Netzach Yehuda Battalion. According to that report, the administration was pressured to reverse its decision from all sides of the political spectrum.

Secretary Blinken said on Monday that there would not be an announcement regarding sanctions against the IDF’s Netzach Yehuda Battalion, but told reporters they should “stay tuned.”

Yesterday (Thursday), US Senator Marco Rubio warned that the decision to impose sanctions on the IDF battalion "helps Israel's enemies. I oppose plans by the Biden Administration to impose sanctions on the commanders and troops of the Netzah Yehuda battalion," Rubio said.

While this is fortunate, we should still be wary of more badness to come, and it doesn't solve the antisemitic university crisis either, to name but one example. And there are tragically plenty more that will be very hard to deal with.

Ambassador Michael Oren says the repellent anti-Israel demonstrations on university campuses are very grave, and another interviewee says they appear to be bankrolled by oil dough:

The Media Line spoke to former Israeli Ambassador to the US and Columbia alumnus Michael Oren, who expressed deep concern over the situation. He described the current campus climate as "intolerable, unacceptable, and exceedingly dangerous," impacting not only Jews but also the broader Western society. Oren traced the origins of these sentiments back to the 1960s youth revolutions.

After their initial failure, he said, these movements embedded themselves in academia, subtly promoting anti-establishment ideologies over decades. “They went back into the campus and spent 50 years instilling their ideas into students and professors to inspire government officials and corporate executives on this particular set of self-declared anti-establishment ideas as trojan horses for antisemitism.”

Anti-war protests of today are actually pro-war

Oren drew parallels between the 1968 anti-war riots and today's campus movements, which he views as pro-war due to their exclusion of Israel.

This shift has notably affected disciplines like American Studies, which have become distinctly anti-American, Oren continued. He also pointed out that even some Jewish academics have joined the anti-Israel chorus, failing to recognize the potential negative consequences for themselves. “They fail to see that this path also ends badly for them.”

Reflecting on Passover, Oren cited the Haggadah's story of the Wicked Son, which he believes mirrors the stance of those who don’t identify with their own people and criticize Israel's defenders. “It's the best image for these people who keep saying that if you defend Israel, you’re a bad Jew. Eventually, they’ll become one of the bad Jews themselves. This movement is a deep-seated cultural trend that has taken decades to evolve, and undoing it may also take decades,” said Oren.

Oren criticized university administrators for not taking a firmer stand earlier. “These demonstrations are orchestrated and funded from outside. These aren’t spontaneous demonstrations,” he said. He called for an FBI investigation into the protests' origins, emphasizing the threat they pose to campus safety. “Jewish students, professors, and staff can’t go on campus.

Oren stressed the limits of free speech, particularly when it incites violence or supports terrorism, “which, by the way, is illegal in America,” he said.

“These people need to be prosecuted, but in the end, this isn’t a job for local police. This requires federal agencies to stop foreign agents from sewing chaos in America and its allies,” concluded the former ambassador. [...]

Beery also highlighted the influence of certain academic and financial practices at Columbia during his time there. “As a student at Columbia from 2002 to 2005, I worked at the Middle East Institute as a research assistant. One of my regular duties was to type up and send thank you notes from the director to various donors, most of whom were oil companies or their proxy organizations and foundations. Nearly none of these were reported by the university at the time,” he said.

So could oil companies have something to do with all the chaos we're seeing now? Well that's also disturbing, and exactly why maybe we shouldn't have to rely solely on fuel for car driving either.

On a related note, prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu compared the demonstations to the 1930s and the National Socialists:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lambasted “an antisemitic surge” in the United States in an English-language video message Wednesday, amid widespread anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian protests on university campuses across the US.

Activists angered by Israel’s war on the Hamas terror group in Gaza have engaged in an escalating standoff with university administrations who have sought to dismantle the encampments, with Jewish students and faculty saying the demonstrations include antisemitic harassment and calls for violence against Jews, as well as support for Hamas’s October 7 massacre of Israeli civilians.

“Antisemitic mobs have taken over leading universities. They call for the annihilation of Israel, they attack Jewish students, they attack Jewish faculty,” Netanyahu charged in his statement, which likened the scenes to those that preceded the Holocaust in Nazi Germany.

“This is reminiscent of what happened in German universities in the 1930s. It’s unconscionable. It has to be stopped. It has to be condemned unequivocally,” the Israeli premier said.

“But that’s not [only] what happened,” he added. “When you listen to them, they say not only ‘Death to Israel’ and ‘Death to the Jews,’ but also ‘Death to America.'”

Netanyahu lamented the “antisemitic surge” in the US “as Israel tries to defend itself against genocidal terrorists who hide behind civilians.”

“We’ve seen in history that antisemitic attacks were always preceded by vilification and slander… We have to stop antisemitism because antisemitism is the canary in the coal mine. It always precedes larger conflagrations that engulf the entire world,” Netanyahu said.

Even now, Columbia continues to take a weak stand on the issue, and nobody sensible should invest money in them for any reason whatsoever.

Hitler never drank or smoked, and look what happened. Part of his Nazification process was to ban smoking throughout the country.

More than 80 million of them snapped-to, and became obedient Nazis. Overnight they traded the crucifix for the swastika.

In his novel, “The Gambler,” Dostoyevsky speaks derisively about the German habit of full devotion and obedience to the “Fater,” whatever the consequences.

It seldom, if ever, ends well.

Of course, what really makes Hitler's ban on smoking - and quite possibly drinking - offensive is that racially motivated murder and rape, by sharp contrast, weren't considered bad. Smoking and alcohol consumption may not be good influences, but the former is definitely tame compared to the horror elements Hitler and the National Socialist minions unleashed upon the world a century ago. And when National Socialists and followers of Islam are perfectly fine with sexual violence and murder, it makes opposition to tobacco and alcohol meaningless and hypocritical. There most definitely is a valid reason to be disgusted at all the moral hypocrisy during WW2 that doubtless has a presence in the world today.

It looks like representatives of the ultra-Orthodox faith are speaking out against spitting at Christians, which has been a scandal of recent that takes away vital attention from more pressing issues like Islamofascism:

For the first time, a public campaign has emerged within the ultra-Orthodox and national Haredi communities in Jerusalem against the harassment of Christian clergy and pilgrims. Ahrale Friedman, a resident of Jerusalem's Ramat Shlomo neighborhood, hung signs throughout the Old City on the eve of the Passover holiday calling on the public to avoid friction, spitting, or other offensive behavior toward Christians.

The signs and pamphlets cite rulings from leading rabbinical authorities who have condemned such actions as forbidden and a desecration of God's name. "We must uphold the honor of our Torah as sons of Abraham, who welcomed idol worshippers into his tent," one pamphlet stated.

While this is to be appreciated, it's also to be hoped the leaders in focus will also be vigilant and oppose clans who're harboring Muslims living illegally in neighborhoods like Mea Shearim:

Severe clashes took place Monday night between Haredim and the police in the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem, according to Walla.

The police entered the area in order to arrest Palestinians without a residence permit in Israel, who were located in a building in the neighborhood.

Residents of the neighborhood threw objects at the police, and in response, the police used measures to disperse the demonstrations.

This was from around April 15, and it's very chilling to think of the possibility any clans and such in that enclave are harboring what could be considered terrorist spies. If any Haredi extremists are concealing these Islamists, they should be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest.

It's also to be hoped the Haredi leaderships will make it clear that attacking women in any way over how they're dressed and whether they sit at the front of a bus or sing is also offensive. Presumably, some have, but still much more effort is obviously needed, and even then, that doesn't mean the Haredi lifestyle has to be considered inherently acceptable. And it must also be made clear that non-Haredis who exploit this kind of behavior opportunistically for sex discrimination must also be condemned. Only by recognizing women's humanity based on personality/beliefs and not on how they're dressed will it be possible to improve society.

Britain's psychology community is apologizing for their role in promoting transsexual operations for children:

A group of senior clinical psychologists have apologised for the role their profession played in the promotion of transgender ‘medical’ treatments to children in the UK following a damning report which found that such interventions were done on “shaky foundations”.

In a joint letter published by the left-wing Guardian’s sister paper The Observer, 16 unnamed “senior clinical psychologists”, including some who actually worked in the now-discredited Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) clinics that prescribed hundreds of children life-altering puberty-blocking drugs, said that their profession led the way in pushing children into such a direction.

“These were psychology-led services. Whether intentionally or not, and many were doing their best in an impossible situation, it was clinical psychologists who promoted an ideology that was almost impossible to challenge,” they wrote.

“It is also our professional body, the British Psychological Society, that has failed (despite years of pressure) to produce guidelines for clinicians working with young people in this complex area; and that, forced into making an official response for the first time, now minimises its own role in events and calls for ‘more psychology’ as the answer. We are ashamed of the role psychology has played,” the group added.

They said that what occurred at GIDS clinics was a “multi-factorial systemic failure” but said that those within the psychology profession should be “fully examined” and held accountable for the role they played, noting that many “failed to carry out proper assessments of troubled young people, and thus put many on an ‘irreversible medical pathway’ that in most cases was inappropriate; and who failed in their most basic duty to keep proper records.”

Personally, I think even advocates of certain religious customs should also take responsibility, since, as I may have argued before, there's certain customs and practices that can cause homosexuality for starters, and transsexuality next. Did it ever occur to those who advocate for abstinence because pre-marital sex is somehow literally the worst thing that could happen, and who believed women must dress modestly or worse, and that men shouldn't look at or talk to women, if at all (or even vice versa), were leading to a stealth effect on men's mindsets that led in turn to the horrible situation we have now?

Anyway, this admittal to failure by UK psychologists is certainly saying a lot more than the USA industry is at the moment, and will hopefully help stop the transsexual crisis, but even then, they left much horrific damage behind, and whole generations will doubtless pay a heavy price as a result. "Protected class" statuses are some of the worst things that can happen.

Turkey continues its racist contempt for Armenians as the capitol city, Istanbul, banned a memorial for victims of the Armenian Genocide during WW1:

Officials in Istanbul banned a ceremony attempting to mark the anniversary of the beginning of the Armenian genocide organized for Wednesday, an event perpetrated by the last remnants of the Ottoman Empire and continuously denied by Ankara to this day.

The Turkish outlet Bianet initially reported on Monday that a group in Istanbul called the “April 24 Commemoration Platform,” named after the day marking the beginning of the genocide, attempted to formally organize a public event on that day to honor the victims of the genocide. The event would have reportedly taken place in front of the Süreyya Opera House in Kadıköy district, Istanbul. The Istanbul Governor’s Office did not grant approval for the event. Bianet did not specify if the Istanbul Governor’s Office offered any reasoning for the ban.

While the Turkish government has never full acknowledged the genocide, prior to the rise of the Islamist Justice and Development Party (AKP), similar solemn memorial events were allowed. In a report on Istanbul’s recent history of marking the event published in October, author Özgür Sevgi Göral, observed that growing social awareness of the genocide and recognition of other atrocities by the Turkish government was growing but appeared to come to a halt following the rise of the AKP as a political heavyweight in 2003.

You can be sure the anti-semitic demonstrators in the USA and Europe, carrying on with their repulsive tirades at Columbia University, in example, are also very sympathetic to Turkey and the Religion of Peace's positions on the issue, and hostile to Armenians. It's vital to consider Islam was the driving factor both during WW1's tragedy, and also the October 7, 2023 bloodbath by Hamas. And also the jihad bloodbath that occurred in Hebron in 1929. That's what makes these issues so horrific. Meanwhile, Turkey strikes again with their autocratic, racist offenses.

Update: in a semi-related subject, Armenian organizations were outraged by how Joe Biden failed to raise the issue of Arsakh, and the slaughter of Christians in the area by Azerbaijan.

A man who very likely was a Muslim kidnapped and raped a woman in France "in revenge for Palestine", and it's lucky he was caught and the victim saved:

A man was arrested for the kidnap and rape of a Jewish woman in Gennevilliers (a suburb in west Paris) in France in an antisemitic attack. "I will desecrate your daughter, I will take revenge on Palestine," the attacker said.

"Thank God she managed to escape! Similarly to Toulouse, Sarah Halimi and the Hyper Cacher – hatred of Israel is lethal in France. It is what fuels antisemitism. Hatred of Israel is the blade of the Islamist dagger," said Jewish MP Meyer Habib.

Habib continued to say that, "At the same time, the Socialist Party in France wants to stop arms shipments to Israel, Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné threatens Israel with sanctions and France has voted with Algeria, Cuba and Russia in favor of Palestine joining the UN, which does not recognize Israel!!!"

"This," says Habib, "is without even mentioning the insanity of the extreme left parties and Jean-Luc Mélenchon's people ... I am sad and worried for the Jews of France but above all, as I have repeatedly said, I worry for France."

Here's more on the rescue of the victim and arrest of the culprit:

According to reports in the French media, on Sunday the Jewish woman called her mother and said that she was being held captive in the apartment of a man she met a week earlier. Police sources state that this person also sent messages to the Jewish woman's family and to her mother, which read: "Good luck, you will never find your daughter. You will never see her again, I will desecrate your daughter." He also sent a similar message to the woman's ex-boyfriend, saying that he wanted to "take revenge on Palestine."

After receiving the phone call from her daughter, the mother contacted the police, and they were able to locate the apartment where she was being held. A special force of the Nanterre police broke into the apartment and rescued the woman. The suspect, a 32-year-old man, was arrested for questioning and is suspected of kidnapping and rape.

[...] Raheli Baratz-Rix, Head of the Department for Combatting Antisemitism and Enhancing Resilience, commented on the incident and said: "This incident is part of several severe incidents that occurred during this past week against Jews around the world: burning of a synagogue, abuse and the worst in an attempted horrific reconstruction of the events of October 7 against a Jewish woman".

"Antisemitism is not a new phenomenon, but is restored and rises periodically, raising its head even more strongly all over the world. This is not a Jewish problem. It is a global problem against all humanity. Every country is responsible for protecting the Jews living in its territory, among its citizens. We must not let such events undermine the strength and identity of Jews around the world. Israel will stand strong and will embrace every Jew who wants to live here."

With all the Muslim-sponsored sexual violence that's occurred in Europe that's struck even non-Jewish citizens, that's precisely why this isn't just a Jewish problem.

Here's some more news about the South Africa republic's sad problems with antisemitism at the government level, and how revolting preident Cyril Ramaphosa's approach was during a community meeting:

Shortly after Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel, which saw the torture and massacre of over 1,200 people, the leadership of the South African Jewish community requested a meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa to discuss rising antisemitism.

The meeting took place in December, and the course it took surprised the South African Jewish Board of Deputies: Instead of discussing the safety concerns of his Jewish constituents, the board’s leader said, Ramaphosa spent most of the meeting attacking Israel, which he accused of committing genocide. He later cited the meeting when South Africa charged Israel with genocide at the International Court of Justice.

“It was a complete betrayal of the community,” Wendy Kahn, the Board of Deputies’ director, told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency in an interview this week.

Ramaphosa had scheduled the meeting for Dec. 13, after the launch of the country’s summer holidays, so a number of the seven Jewish officials who attended had to cut into summer travel plans to make the meeting in the capital city of Pretoria.

The inconvenience seemed worth it, Kahn said. Antisemitism had spiked in South Africa and the parliament’s overwhelming vote to cut diplomatic ties to Israel and shutter its embassy was creating problems for the South Africans with family in Israel.

Yet instead of focusing on those issues, according to Ramaphosa’s office, the South African president used the meeting to accuse Israel of genocide. His statement following the meeting does mention his government’s “denunciation of anti-Semitic behavior towards Jewish people in South Africa, including the boycott of Jewish owned businesses, and Islamophobia.”

But most of the statement concerns South Africa’s criticism of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza. It says Ramaphosa explained that his government “condemns the genocide that is being inflicted against the people of Palestine, including women and children, through collective punishment and ongoing bombardment of Gaza.”

Obscene cliches galore, and that's all this disgraceful man cares about. No doubt, he's doing it all at the expense of his country's integrity too, and it won't be shocking if soon, he'll make sure to import plenty of Muslims to South Africa to boot. Also note his classic cliche of "islamophobia", which makes for plenty of reprehensible moral equivalence. I'd suggest all concerned not invest in the SA republic so long as anybody as vile as Ramaphosa is in charge. And we must hope the Jewish community on the south of the continent will be able to persusade neighboring countries with more common sense regarding Islamofascism why they must avoid allowing antisemitism to run rampant, and encourage them to take a firm stand against the Religion of Peace.

In another display of contempt for Israel after October 7, 2023's Hamas bloodbath, the Biden faux-administration wants to impose sanctions upon a IDF group, and look who's behind the campaign for it:

According to NGO Monitor, an organization named DAWN has been acting recently with the aim of pressuring the American government to impose sanctions on Israeli military personnel and units in the IDF, as reported by the newspaper 'Israel Hayom.'

For example, in April 2023, the organization sent a memo to the U.S. State Department calling for sanctions against a military judge and the military secretary of President Isaac Herzog.

Shortly after the event in October, the organization filed a private complaint with the State Department against the Netzach Yehuda battalion and its commanders. In December 2023, it sent a list of 40 Israeli officers to the Prosecutor General of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, demanding an investigation against them. Among other things, a public campaign was conducted in which their pictures and personal details were distributed.

NGO Monitor reported that several senior employees and board members of the organization have connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and they expressed support for the terrorist organization Hamas. Others are former senior members of extreme anti-Israel organizations, with a history of antisemitic statements and support for terrorist attacks. [...]

The sources noted that the American sanctions would prohibit transferring American military aid to the 'Netzach Yehuda' battalion, prevent its soldiers and officers from participating in training with the U.S. army, or participating in activities funded by the US.

Prime Minister Netanyahu commented, "It is forbidden to impose sanctions on the Israel Defense Forces. I have been acting in recent weeks against imposing sanctions on Israeli citizens, including in my talks with senior officials of the American government. At a time when our soldiers are fighting terror monsters, the intention to impose sanctions on an IDF unit is the height of absurdity and a low of values. The government under my leadership will act with all means against these moves."

Connections to the MB says all one needs to know that something is horrifyingly wrong with this picture. Former ambassador Michael Oren says this will harm the USA's military as well:

“It’s true. If there is an intention to sanction any unit of the Israeli Army, it's totally unacceptable. It's a violation of our sovereignty. It's a slap in the face of the IDF. It's also a very dangerous precedent because what begins with Netzach Yehuda, could end tomorrow with Golani or the Paratroopers, where young men and women who fought in our army, could go visit a foreign capital and find themselves being arrested at an airport. It's even dangerous for the US because what begins with the IDF could end with the American armed forces, with Marines being arrested at airports and when America goes to protest, other countries might say, ‘Well, you did this to Israel.’ So, it's a very, very bad precedent and it's also a blow to Israeli society, where we are trying to resolve the issue of Haredi service in the military and now comes along this action, which will say basically to the Haredi community, ‘You serve in the IDF and you end up getting sanctioned,’” says Dr. Oren.

Yes, it's damaging in that regard too, since now it can end up discouraging Haredis from serving based on how they're being discriminated against. This is another most repulsive act of contempt against Israel.

Daniel Greenfield points to how CAIR is trying to get reporters imprisoned for exposing Hamas supporters:

Weeks after the Hamas murders, rapes and kidnappings of Oct 7, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) began meeting with attorney generals around the country.

Beyond CAIR’s existing effort to establish that Muslims, not Jews, were the real victims, the Islamist organization whose roots are linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, the parent organization of Hamas, were persuading top state prosecutors to go after Jewish anti-terror activists.

CAIR’s San Francisco Bay Area staff and Islamist allies met with California Attorney General Rob Bonta and urged him to enforce laws against what the group claimed was “doxxing”. Under California law, doxxing can be punished by up to a year in prison. Bonta has been considering running for governor and might be amenable to doing what it took to win Islamist support.

That's not the only person to worry about. Even California's governor just made clear he's not on Israel's side:

California’s Democratic Party establishment, from Gov. Newsom on down, bowed to CAIR, and demanded that Israel cease its attacks on Hamas. How long until they agree that anyone who commits the crime of quoting CAIR and other Hamas supporters should be locked up in prison?

Anybody in Israel who met with Gavin Newsom when he came here shortly after the October 7 tragedy would do well to stop maintaining any relations with him, because it's clear he's that much of a disgrace, as is the rest of the Democrat party. Now, they're allowing CAIR to rebuild itself back again as an enemy of the people, and with the way things are going now, more tragedy is bound to strike again soon. One can also wonder what'll happen to 9-11 Families if things deteriorate as badly as they're bound to?

Jordan Boyd reports fraud-in-chief Joe Biden's rewritten Title IX solely for the sake of transsexuals, and all at women's expense:

The Biden administration’s Department of Education unveiled a sweeping set of rules on Friday that effectively erase protections for sex-based spaces by expanding the Title IX prohibition against sex discrimination to include “gender identity” — a term that’s never mentioned in the original law.

A majority of Americans agree that males who claim to identify otherwise should not be allowed to infiltrate girls’ and women’s sports teams. As of now, some 25 states have laws or regulations aimed at keeping boys and men out of female-only spaces, on and off the field.

Yet, come Aug. 1, the Democrat regime’s radial redefinition of “sex-based discrimination” poses a threat to sex-based protections and welcomes males into female spaces including athletic competitions, locker rooms, and sex-specific clubs such as sororities, despite state laws.

“The final regulations will help to ensure that all students receive appropriate support when they experience sex discrimination and that recipients’ procedures for investigating and resolving complaints of sex discrimination are fair to all involved,” the rules claim.

The regulations do even more damage, however, such as by undoing Trump-era due process safeguards for those accused of sexual misconduct, which could include merely using accurate pronouns. They also encroach on parents’ rights and threaten academic free speech by incentivizing schools to censor students and teachers with traditional views on sex and marriage so they don’t lose federal funding.

There's also the serious issue of Planet Fitness enabling male predators to endanger women under the shield of protected-class status:

For many women,this isn’t an isolated incident. It represents a growing concern surrounding predator men targeting them in public, especially in restrooms and other vulnerable spaces, and their voices being dismissed. While left-wing activists recognize the incredible violation of a women targeted in a store by a predatory man filming under her skirt, the same people seem oddly dismissive of women concerned about violations in restrooms and locker rooms.

The primary barrier between the concerns many women express regarding these predators exploiting private spaces and being taken seriously seems to be a desire to protect specifically trans-identifying men. While LGBT activists have long insisted opposition to “inclusive” restroom policies is based on transphobic views, the concern has always been that predator males will abuse these policies.

From Advocate, an LGBT site, “The gym [Planet Fitness] chain recently defended its decision to revoke the membership of a woman who photographed another woman in a changing room. Patricia Silva was banned after she shared a video on Facebook featuring the other woman, who is transgender, while complaining about her presence in the woman’s locker room.”

This “other woman” was an obvious male, shaving his beard, with no signs of female presentation. The woman entered the changing room to see him standing in a towel and topless. Advocate mocked her, saying, “Silva also pearl-clutched over the woman being near a 12-year-old girl in the locker room, despite no incident or interaction taking place. She then said that after verbally berating the woman, she reported her to the staff at the front desk, who did not take action.”

Something to ponder: if Muslim practitioners were the main ones in the locker room, there's far less chance he'd do that, because of the horror story other Muslims would cause for him. People like that pervert always look for the easy targets, and "protected class" statuses have made things worse. As have, chillingly enough, Catholic women's schools who've allowed male transsexuals to enroll:

A majority of the Catholic women’s colleges in the United States allow men who identify as transgender women to enroll, according to a new report—despite church teaching on gender and sex.

The National Catholic Register reported on Friday that of the three dozen women’s colleges throughout the country, most are now admitting men. The publication notes that there are eight Catholic women’s colleges, all founded by Catholic female religious orders, and each of those colleges has an independent board of trustees that oversees them.

Five of the eight women’s colleges explicitly state on their websites that they allow men who identify as women to enroll in their institutions, according to the National Catholic Register. According to a pro-transgender organization, Campus Pride, two more of the colleges also allow trans-identifying students to enroll.

Those schools operating in Minnesota don't shock me at all. Nor should it shock anybody why Christianity's on the sharp decline it's been on in past years. When they actually allow this kind of perversion, you can't be surprised when potential adherents want nothing to do with the Church of Rome anymore. And there you have one more example of how the USA's deteriorating rapidly.

In this example, we learn that a Chabad synagogue was victim of arson. And there may not be any arrests, let alone investigations, made.

Here, Noa Cochva, the 2021 Miss Israel winner, was assaulted by a pro-Hamas demonstrator in New York. And arrests certainly haven't been made here.

And here, we learn the situation at Columbia university's become repulsive, and a rabbi's asking students to stay home at the moment. They could do better still by stopping to learn there, and not paying a cent more for any "educational" programs.

And this is just a starting example of how far the USA itself has fallen.

Update: HBO entertainer Bill Maher warns that this year could be similar to 1968, with pro-Hamas protestors.

Update 2: also important to ponder is that many anti-Israeli protestors also hold anti-American and anti-Christian viewpoints.

Update 3: and it's no improvement at all when CBS omits any news of these repulsive riots at Columbia.
